Conference Venue

The Congress will be held at the María Cristina Royal University Centre.

This centre was founded by the Queen Regent María Cristina of Habsburg-Lorena in 1892, and run by the Augustinian religious order since that time, is an Upper Educational Centre associated with the Complutense University of Madrid.

It is located in an extraordinary setting and in fabulous surroundings. It forms a part of the astonishing monumental architectronic complex of the Royal Monastery of El Escorial founded by King Phillip II in the 16th century. This all provides a particularly beneficial atmosphere for studying and inter-relationships.

The buildings are true gems of architecture, with completely modernised facilities; the Hall of Residence, Library, sports area, lecture halls equipped with projection facilities, computing rooms, etc.
